Herne Bay Beach

Today saw the best weather of the summer so far - beautiful sunshine with a gentle breeze, making it neither humid nor sticky. The sky was very flat, though, so I waited till later in the evening before heading out. Milo loves coming with me on these trips and sat happily in the front seat of the car, reading Advanced Photographer magazine. "Wow, Dad, that's a cool camera! Look at that picture of that bird - what's it eating?” We drove to Herne Bay and walked along the beach at low tide, the setting sun casting a beautiful glow on the sand. Milo pottered about happily and made convenient silhouettes for me to shoot.
